「請法語」是每年⼤華嚴寺三鶴道場春節期間最富特⾊的活動之⼀，「法
語」代表佛陀指點的法⾨，三鶴道場所發放的法語皆節錄⾃《⼋⼗華嚴》中
之經句。
「請法語」即「請法」的意思。對於第⼀次參與請領法語的⼈來說，法語卡
的內容，即是代表此⽣必須努⼒修學的「法⾨」，也可視作⼀⽣的「座右
銘」。對於第⼆次以上請領法語的⼈，新請的法語卡則為今年努⼒的⽬標和
⽅向。
法語，是諸佛菩薩在新的年頭給予我們的禮物、加持⼒，請到的「法語」必
須靠⾃⼰慢慢「參」，⽽不是請到之後就急著問師⽗如何解釋？反之，當下
應該要留意的，是⾃⼰當下看到法語時，內⼼的真實感受。
「法語」是契⼦，不是讓我們向外去追求什麼，⽽是反觀內⼼開啟⾃性。
 
"Requesting Dharma Verses" is one of the most distinctive activities during the Lunar New Year at Triple Crane Retreat Center. The "Dharma Verses" represent the teachings and guidance of the Buddha, and the phrases distributed at Triplecrane Retreat Center are excerpts from the Eighty-Fascicle Avatamsaka Sutra.
It is equivalent to "seeking Dharma teachings." For those participating for the first time, the content of the Dharma Verse represents the spiritual path or Dharma practice one must strive to cultivate in this lifetime and can also serve as a lifelong motto. For those requesting Dharma Verses for the second time or beyond, the new verse signifies the goals and direction to work toward in the coming year.
The Dharma Words are gifts and blessings from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for the new year. However, the meaning of the Dharma Verses must be contemplated and understood personally. It is not about immediately asking a teacher for an explanation. Instead, what one should focus on is the authentic feeling that arises in the heart upon first seeing the Dharma words.
Dharma Verses serve as a guide to self-reflection. They are not tools for external pursuits but are meant to inspire an inward journey, awakening one’s innate wisdom.
